Sport Inclusion Australia is the recognised national sporting organisation for athletes with an intellectual impairment, the INAS Member nation and a founding member of the Australian Paralympic Committee.

Sport Inclusion Australia liaises and builds the capacity of State, National and International organisations to include participants with an intellectual impairment in programs within their structure with the focus on ability, choice and based on social inclusion principles.

Established in 1986, Sport Inclusion Australia has today in excess of 3000 athletes. These athletes are located in over 1600 local communities across all states and territories of Australia.

Sport Inclusion Australia is responsible for managing the eligibility process for athletes wishing to compete at regional, state, national and international levels of competition within the intellectual impairment classification.
